Just double checking myself here....
73 F100....cranks won't catch to start. I'm looking at a new starter here, right?Battery is new (the heat zapped my old one), yes it has gas.
Good grief! Who would have thought that I would have lost so much knowledge about cars from '76 to now! Lol!

I guess you could say that. It will grind, act like its going to start then drain the battery. I can do this like three times before I have to leave it alone or face a dead battery. This is the only thing that I can think of that would drain the battery so quickly since it has a direct hook-up to it.
