I have a 1997 f250HD crew cab with 280K+ miles on it. MY lovely son slug it around the tree in the driveway and screwed the frame up. I have got it fixed the frame. I was wondering some good shocks for it. I got some 350 springs to replace the ones that were broke. what are some suggestions for some shocks.
Something heavy duty applications

Thanks guys in advance.
My son said this is the best and most knowledgeable forum out there.
So you put springs for a Dana 60 on the Dana 50? From everything I've read, it won't ride right. Those springs aren't arched right for the height of the 50, and they're not set up to twist/torsion laterally with the pivoting action of the traction beams of the D50 front end.
If it is rear springs, no problem swapping. IF front, not so good. The 350 springs may actually be to soft for it. Plus they have a positive arch, U shape, so that will push the axels farther from the wheel wells and probably cause camber problems. Make the top side sidewall of the tire over hang the bottom side sidewall. be like having a really heavy load in the very back of the bed that would make the front of the truck lift up.

The 250 springs are actually heavier than the 350 springs.
You are correct on this.
The truck will not ride right in the front with 350 springs on a TTB.
