Made the Move

I just had a bunch of things go wrong with the 05 6.0 and decided that I should just get a new one instead of beating (paying) a dead horse.

I got a 2012 6.7 xlt crew cab. It was not optimal time to spend the money but spending it on repairs made less sense. I feel like i got a fair deal and it is awesome to drive.

I bought it before I drove it and wow! The wife said that she wanted to drive it before we left the dealership and I said be careful it has alot of power. Right in front of the show room with my salesman right there she mashed that throttle to the floor and left a 30 foot set of black marks on the pavement. The salesman said wholly sh*& there goes you tires! The salesman called me the next day and said they had just got through scrubbing them up (joking).

It is amazing how much power these have and it is equiped perfect for my needs. I have a 27 ft camper and do alot of hunting so it is going to get used off road and towing as well as being my daily driver.

Can't wait to drive her everyday!

I think you will be very happy with your new truck.
I never had a 6.0 and from everyone around my area I am glad I skipped them. Had a 01 7.3, and a 08 6.4 before this one. so far it has been great.

You will love it. I traded a 04 6.0. Had some EGR issues to the tune of around $1,800, but that was about it. Over all I liked the 04.

However, I love the 12.

Good luck.
