sheetmetal interchangibility
do the 83-89? rangers share the same cabs and boxes as the 89?-92s. i might buy my friends 84 and like the look of the 89?-92 front ends. while im at it, if i do buy his ranger im gunna drop a 302 in it

The only thing that I know of that is different in the sheet metal of those years is the hood and fenders starting with the 89. The inner fenders and rad support is spot welded on. You may have to change them too I am not sure. But the cabs, doors & beds are the same
