Not good the owner doesn't know what engine it has (only that it's a V8), but how can you go wrong for everything else and $800? I say it's a good deal and go for it.
It's been rebuilt, and he don't know what the motor is...?
If he don't know that, then is it really a F350?
Check the vin number when you go look at it... I'd offer him 5, if it is a 1ton... From way he described the body, I bet it's pretty well ragged out...
Buyer beware...first make sure the VIN checks out (F36 will be the first three digits) and make sure it's legitimately a 60 up front (if you don't know how to visually inspect, the gear cover bolts on a 60 will have a 9/16 head, a 44 will have 1/2" heads). If those check out...the truck should be parked in your driveway.
any news? (apparently that aint long enough to post, so here is this long meanningless string of words? are you still reading this? if so, you must be as board as i am.)
