Be careful with that rivnut tool. That thing is relying on the threads of the rivnut to cinch itself up. A better way is to hold the bolt that threads into the rivnut and then tighten a nut down on the bolt you are holding (using washers between the rivnut and the nut you are tightening to reduce friction). It is a PAIN in the butt to strip out the threads of the rivnut. The rivnut is soft so it can cinch up and therefore it’s threads are fairly soft too.
I was cleaning my "new" hornbar I got on eBay, and I didn't realize the little Ford oval thing had posts on the back. I broke off the posts when removing, and am going to try to superglue them and see if it holds. Does anyone know if these are available somewhere?
