Be careful with that rivnut tool. That thing is relying on the threads of the rivnut to cinch itself up. A better way is to hold the bolt that threads into the rivnut and then tighten a nut down on the bolt you are holding (using washers between the rivnut and the nut you are tightening to reduce friction). It is a PAIN in the butt to strip out the threads of the rivnut. The rivnut is soft so it can cinch up and therefore it’s threads are fairly soft too.

I was cleaning my "new" hornbar I got on eBay, and I didn't realize the little Ford oval thing had posts on the back. I broke off the posts when removing, and am going to try to superglue them and see if it holds. Does anyone know if these are available somewhere?

Horn pad: Black camera case finish or burled 'walnut?' With or without Speed Control?

Look on the backside of the emblem, see if there's any numbers moulded into it.

There aren't any numbers on the emblem. It's the "burled" walnut over aluminum insert, and without speed control.

Okay, thank you. I'll have to keep an eye out at the pull and pays until I can throw down the coin for one of the NOS units.
