One thing I've noticed on these vehicles is if while pumping fuel you turn the key on to ACC to record mileage (I record all my mileage/gallons/etc) with each fill up...
But if you turn the key to ACC while the tank is filling...if it is over about 1/2 or 3/4...it seems to "stick" there for maybe the next 10 driven miles...it "creeps" up slow...
I assume yours just "sticks" out of the blue and not surrounding any fuel fills with the key being turned on/off?
My guage will stick as well if the key is on while refueling, but records changes instantly if the key is off and turned on again after fueling, guess it is just something with the guage!
My gas gauge will read empty every once in a while then correct itself after driving for a few miles. Anyone thoughts? Is it just the sensor sticking?
If I park on a steep hill, front end higher then rear end, when started the gas gauge and lie-o-meter will read artificially low. The gas gauge will correct itself after a few miles, but the meter will usually stay that way until I shut the truck of and restart it.
