new heads

so what do you guys think about me running a set of victor jr heads on my 351w? i 'm not changing the cam just the heads & headers. it's been bored .040 over i can't remember the compression or all the cam specs but it has a 509 lift. holley 750 carb 27 inch tires 3.73 gears. i'm looking at flowteck headers or headmen..

They're great heads for a 351 and Edlebrock uses good hardware for their assembled sets. They use large valve springs so look closely to make sure they don't touch the rocker arms. You can do a little grinding/filing on the rockers though to gain some needed clearance and it shouldn't affect the integrity.

kool i was reading about them the other day that's why i asked & i think that they would be cheaper than the RHS or AFR's. by the way folks i'm back across the way in afgan round 3 in affect.

You're looking at a massive power upgrade if you're coming from stock heads but I don't know about getting them cheaper than an RHS.. depends upon your source I guess. Stay safe over there...
