#8 Injector change effect.

I am curious. I have installed a regulated return on my engine, (Love it) and I noticed that the vendor stated that if I wanted, since I now have an open-loop system that I could change the #8 injector from an AE to an AD type injector. I was wondering if anyone had done this and if so, what was the effect? Would it make the engine smoother? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I would not personally do it, until you are going to replace them all. You won't notice a difference.

And if I did replace them all, what would be the effect? I realize that by putting all new injectors in it would run better, but what I am getting at is what would be the effect of putting 8 AD typr injectors?

You won't notice any effect with stock injectors, but if/when you need them you can simply order all 8 the same.

If youre going to change one injector change them all. And if you are going to change all of the injectors might as well upgrade; its not much more money.
