It's been awhile since I posted. I have gotten a lot done the airdog fuel system is mounted. I got the transmission cooler and lines done and most of the p/s hydroboost is done. I also got my 63/68 turbo mounted and plumbed.
It's out of a 4bt from a bread truck. Then get a flow valve for a ford rack and pinion otherwise you will blow your seals out of you gear. I found the pump over at 4btswaps.

Thats what I was thinking it was. I am going to be running a saginaw steering box too. I believe that should match and the flow valve should be fine. Thanks for the info.
Well it's been awhile winter is now gone so I got this motor temporally plumed for a test fire. It took awhile because I had the pump retaraded. Once I got that right it fired right up. All I can say is omg this thing is going to be scary to drive the throttle is scary touchy. Guess I got my goal plenty of hp lol.
Got any updated pics? Glad to see you fired it up for the first time. That 63 turbo should spool great not to big and laggy. Whats the exhaust size on the turbo? I been thinking of either a 63 or 64 for both my sled puller and my 71 crew conversion. Where did you get the flow valve for the power steering ill need one I'm using a 79 f259 4x4 box and the 12v ps pump.
I think it's a .81ar I have to look the valve I got from summit it is for a Chevy pump to mustang rack and pinion. I'll get some pics it look like crap because I just plumbed everything wherever it's comming apart this summer once I get a few other things done.
