I have an 05 with 159,000 miles on it. When it gets hot here in Ohio (90 or above) my truck will run at ect of 205-210 when the fan kicks on and cools it back down. It will only cool it down to around 200 and then it comes back up to 210 when the fan kicks on. It has a new oil cooler, thermostat, and the whole front of the engine where the low pressure oil pump water pump was replaced because of a bad low pressure oil pump. Is this normal or should I replace the radiator?
It should be lower than 200F unless you are loaded or pulling hills. Since most of the cooing system has been replaced thats likely the culprit. Someone on here might have a procedure to test the radiator.
I'm not suggesting you replace anything with this post. This is just for your info. Others with more knowledge than me will help you trouble shoot your coolant temps issues.
Cost about $400 (which included shipping) if I recall. Very nice unit. Looks solid. No plastic parts like the original. Exact match for fit and hoses and tranny line attachments. Removal of the old and installation of the new is easy and quick. There is a write up on here that outlines replacing the water pump and part of that write up includes all the steps and tools needed to get the radiator in and out.

I would give a good cleaning first also.
Low pressure hose not a pressure washer unless
you want bent fins. You could pre-soak it with
some Simple Green and then hose it down and
then take a light and look through to see if you missed
any dirt and bugs.
Don't know for sure but I would tend to think the BPD radiator is probably a rebranded Mishimoto.
If the OEM is not leaking you should take it to radiator shop and have them flow test it to verify if it is clogged or not.
If you search for a Mishimoto, you can pick one up for around 260.00, including shipping. The Mishimoto comes with a lifetime warranty against defects and they will replace it if you are ever in a collision that damages the radiator.
If you do decide to put a new radiator in I would definatly get the BPD water pump. I has a billet impeller which is way better than the OEM plastic one. I does not pump anymore fluid than the OEM, but it will not crack like the OEM and I have never heard of one of them slipping/spinning on the hub like the OEM's.
