So- painfully returning all vacuum and emissions systems back to where they belong- now appears that Holley 4180C has seen far better days and power valve is out-
No emissions inspections here in Alaska- what carb would be a good replacement on this 1986 5.8L HO? (A California original) Or get another Holley?
I am not interested in making the truck do anything more than run well back and forth to work and an occaisional trip to the river- any suggestions?
If you are returning the emissions back to original, nothing is going to do but the original carb or a replacement just like it. If you do not care about emissions or underhood inspections, any Holley or Eldebrock will bolt right on.
