VIN DECODE ASSISTANCE - N600

I know, I know, this is the should be in the Big Truck forum, but there's a lot more traffic over here.
This is what I've been able to decipher from the sellers photo of the Warranty Plate (truck is 1,000 miles away):

Thanks for the info Bill. It has a 300 I-6 in it now, according to the seller. Maybe it's a P5 differential? Hopefully I can get clarification when the seller gets off work. Doesn't have a DSO #
Michelle is a friend of mine, and yes her's is a great looking truck. First one I had seen. I've sent her an e-mail.
Edit: Just heard back from the seller: Says the trans code is: A (?) and the rear axle is: F8 c.
The gear shift lever has a red **** attached on the side (he says the truck has a dual speed rear axle). This help at all?

I know Ms Michelle too, we've spoken on the phone a coupla times, she has a husky voice with a pronounced Texas drawl, similar to a N'awlins drawl.

Former N'awlins resident, lived at the Ponchartrain Hotel 9/44 - 3/45 while my USN Commander dad was routing convoys from N'awlins thru the Persian Gulf.

I don't remember anything, was 2 weeks old when mom and I moved there. Dad was transfered to the heavy cruiser USS Quincy (CA-71) 3/45, mom and I moved back to LA LA Land.

You're correct about the DSO. I didn't see it. Maybe 32 (that would be Cleveland)? Believe the truck came from the Ohio area originally. Boy my eyes are getting bad. Here's a photo, maybe you can do better than me.

Maybe N60BU The B would match up with the 300 I-6 and the U would be the Kentucky plant. Make sense?
Seems that I saw somewhere that the truck's weight was 8,000 lbs. That sound about right?

BTW: I'm in the N.E. corner of Louisiana, a long way from N.O. N.O. and South Louisiana are like a different country from where I live. Sort of like Northern and Southern California :-)
