SKYRIM
At first it seems kind of clunky, maybe hard to get used to.
And then you find yourself in it so deep it becomes an obsession..................
Got any exploits you'd like to share?
There is a DOG you can collect (mascot of a deadra) that is all but un-killable. The only problem with it is that the silly thing will shove you off of a cliff if you let it...
(Sorry S.O.B.)!
You can get it at the beginning of the game, and never fullfill the quest associated with it
You can have TWO dogs, a companion, AND a horse

It's name is Bardas, has an abrasive NEW YORK accent, and is irritating as all hell...
*Fortunately, you can tell it to stop following you, and collect it when you need it
Look for it outside a far south-western town
Bardas is all but unkillable, because it is essential to part of the story line
THAT is an advantage
(But I did get it killed a few times)
*I'm not sure what happens if it dies, and you go look for it again outside the original town it came from... Maybe it regens
(I heard it from a guy way past me)
When you first go in, a prisoner - yeah?
In the first place - using the left and right lower triggers - you can DOUBLE EQUIP weapons and spells. Try it, and learn it right then.
At a point in the storyline you are in a cave where your "GUIDE" points out a bear in the cave, and suggests sneaking by it.
One of the top EXPLOITS is to ATTACK THAT GUIDE right then and there, being careful to not kill him (I found out that you can if you try hard enough) using single handed weapons.
DO THIS IN SNEAK MODE - so that it contributes also.
On the way to there you should collect as many arrows as you can - guess what? Use them too!
ON THAT GUY (the neutral!!!)
He will ask what you are doing, say he is on YOUR SIDE, whatever.
*Because he is essential to the story line he will not attack you no matter what...
So you can use him as a practice dummy right then and there
The way the level system works, you can build high levels of "ONE HANDED WEAPONS" (I looked for a two handed, like a great sword, but there are none yet) because you are attackiong a real target that takes damage - follow me so far?
Seems unethical as hell but it DOES work.
You ALSO have a fire spell (destruction magicka) from the beginning.
DON'T NEGLECT THAT either - work both at once.
Flame the guy, let him recover, then hit on him.
He won't fight back
Keep this up long enough and you can hit level 70 in one handed, and the same in "DESTRUCTION MAGICKA" before you even leave Helgen
*You can also advance a bit in archery
Next hot tip -
GO WEST YOUNG MAN!
To the west and south is a town (one of the holds) where they mention a dog outside the town.
You don't have to go far out of the town on the LEVEL (not uphill) side to find it. It talks to you
(?)
Okay, talking DOGS, great
CAT PEOPLE
DRAGONS
LIVING DEAD...
Lizard people.
Right - WHY NOT?
Suuuure..... Talking dogs!
It's name is Bardas, and is one of the best early companions in the game -
All but unkillable, it is one of the best fighting companions IN the game
DO NOT complete the quest with Bardas.
1) The axe isn't worth it
2) The MASK is junk
3) Bardas is too good a companion, and you can always collect him if you tell him to "Stop following you"
~All of this before you ever reach Riverun - much less Whiterun
Always remember "SAVE-LOAD" tactics
Save after anything important
Save BEFORE anything hard
Save before OPENING CHESTS...
In some cases, the contents or adversaries in dungeons are random.
- This is especially true of stores and places that sell things. SAVE BEFORE ENTERING A TOWN AND SHOPPING
- If you don't find what you want, RELOAD
Save before you enter anywhere, save before opening anything.
Sometimes the results are different when you reload!!!!!
***WHAT I AM TELLING YOU HERE, IS THAT IF YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE TO TAKE ON A RANDOM FUNCTION - YOU CAN FORCE THE GAME TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT IT TO***
This was true in the "Might and Magic" series - where you could save before going into a shop - and if they didn't have the best, RELOAD, and try again.
Every time, what was on the shelves changed. It may be more difficult here, but we should look for anything like that.
~Wolfie
"If it is written into the game, and NOT a cheat code, it is fair"
NOTE: The dragons in Might and Magic VII could be save-loaded, and sometimes the dragons didn't go away after being searched -
You saved at that point, and searched them again.
If they vanish - you reload.
If they DID NOT vanish, you save.
Then try again....
Dragon still there?
SAVE!
NOT?
RELOAD....
You may have no idea how powerful this exploit is...
ASK yourself if you are tired of not getting what you want
*I've been working for a while on dissecting this game according to my own devious methods
