So where is everyone else from in Wisconsin? I am from Jefferson, which is about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee just a short skip off the interstate.

73-79's are my ford truck cup of tea, but then any FORD truck is good! Hope to hear from some of you others!

 

I live in Burlington. Its close to Lake Geneva.

 

I know exactly where Burlington is. I sold a truck shortly after school and it ended up there--red and white. Somedays I wish I still had that ole' truck.

 

What was it?

 

Cleveland Wisconsin. Just north of Sheboygan right off I-43.

I didn't know there was a WI chapter of FTE. Very cool!

mpcrewcab, did you happen to check out the Jefferson car show & swap meet? I was there Saturday for most of the day. I didn't walk through the car show part, but scored some goodies at the swap meet part.

Always sell at both Jeffersons--if you saw a swap spot with a blue and white bronco and a blue and silver truck both 73-79 that was our stalls. We had 6 stalls this year. Always next to the 48 foot red enclosed trailer. I live about a mile north of fairgrounds--so spent 3 full days there! Didnt show the truck this spring there as I bought my next project, a 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT and was too busy getting that home on sunday. Plenty of other shows though. Didnt buy much else but sold a ton of stuff and lots of parts so a good weekend overall.

Mike - yeah still looking for that rock guard or valence or whatever it's called that sits below the front bumper on my '68. Also need a fender (can't remember which side) and grille. I'll hafta stop by and check out your inventory one of these days. Just have to get the truck home first...

 

Stop on out this weekend....lots of projects going on on saturday afternoon. Stuff on new trucks and on the broncos trying to get them ready for the Badlands. Hey and if you come bring Terri--so we can be maniacs together. The first truck is ready to go to the scrap yard so stop out soon.

Congrats on the new truck--finally found what you wanted huh....so are you letting the "warden" drive it?? Not much good on it--they stripped it last nite and hauled into the scrapyard today. Body not well--Mike bought it for the motor primarily fpr the cyclone. Sunday we wont be home-- going to the All Ford show in Cudahy.
