to any experts that can help...posted yesterday about my 03 f250 7.3 with 150,000...a few months back,truck would not start ,and since i havent done the cps recall,I picked 1 up [oem ] and truck ran great with no promblems,then about 2 weeks later,started running sluggish and rough idle,and I already heard bad things about oem cps,so I got another one ,but from international and truck ran great again for about a week,then started again..I checked Icp and it had oil on plug,so replaced plug and sensor,but still running bad...When cold,truck runs super good,but after warm,say 20 miles,,it starts missing and its loud like diesel clanking ...no engine lights,,fresh oil,fuel filter,air filter,and does it no matter what level gas is....truck has always been great,then cps went and never been right since.....so sorry for long post and appreciate any help...Does anyone think this could be the uvch and if so ,how to check...thanks so much

 

It could be the UVCH. From your previous threads, it sounds like you have had the check engine light come on for a bit. There should be a code stored. Here's a thread, (long, but good info) on trouble shooting and repairing UVCH issues. Really if you could get codes read, that would be best. Most auto parts stores readers will not work. Maybe someone close by with AE?
