Fresh 460 post break in adjustment/tuning

Hey guys, just fired up my freshly built 460 that has been in the works for about 4 years as money allowed. Awesome oil pressure, everything seems to be working fine. My question is, is it necessary to pop the valve covers and re-check the rocker arms? I am using a .530" lift flat tappet cam/hydraulic lifters and Scorpion Performance roller rockers. The heads are C8s so they use the studs, not pedestals. The lobes of the cam and all of the components surely cannot wear that much, and even if there is some shifting/wear, wouldn't the lifters take up the difference? Thanks. Also, any other adjustments or things to consider once the engine is broke in?
