On my 92 F250 351W 4x4 there ar 2 vacuum lines coming off of the throttle body, 1 from the upper blade area and one from the lower blade area. These two hosestee together then go to a sensor. When I bought the truck this is where they ended is at the sensor. I capped the line off at the sensor so I wouldn't have an obvious leak at the throttle body.
Before any one says to check the diagramon the radiator core support, the previous Owner painted over it.
So does any know where these vacuum lines are supposed to go/
That is not a sensor. It is a solenoid purge valve. The vapor hose from the vapor purge valve goes to the fuel vapor canister below by the radiator on the passenger side.
But that does not sound like a 1992 setup. A 1992 setup only has one of those hoses. The two hose setup was use back about 1988 and older trucks.
Thanks for the info,
I am going to stop on the way home from work tomorrow and pick up some new vacuum hose and start replacing some of the dry rotted stuff on my truck. i will look for the offending vacuum canister and try to get it hooked up
