5.9 cummins

I have a 1977 4x4 f250 and i would like to install a 5.9 cummins whit an allison trany it's that posible?

anything's possible with enough $$ or time and fab skills.

Have a look around the engine swap forum here - lots of us doing cummins swaps in the 70's trucks!

Do a 7.3 its a hell of alot cheaper I paid 500.00 for my running driving organ donor but like chase says fab skills are a must or lots of $$$

The 4X is a heck of alot easier then my 2X was.

Yes o hace been cheking options and i like the cummins very much cause i drove a 98 RAM And it felt realy powerfull

I have a 77 F250 4X4 that I placed a 93 5.9 cummins with the 518 auto OD. Love the truck and would do it again. I would think the Allison would go in OK also.
