sct vs banks

sct vs banks
Ok im looking for a PROGRAMMER for my ex. Been looking at the sct and banks but not sure to what one I want. The banks I can read and clear trouble codes and adjust shift points adjust the cooling fan, speedometer calibration adjust or remove the rev limiter and or top speed plus internet updates and it says 25+ hp and 45 ft/lb. what will the sct do?
I pull some but it's not a lot, Just looking to add some zip in my ride, I have a 6in lift and rolling on 22'' not sure what the gears are. For all I know they are stock but my speedometer is around 5 mph off, btw it's a 4x4.
The banks it 399 shipped and the sct i'm looking at is 469 shipped. I run most of the time 87 octane eth free... so please let me know what you think is the best for me.

Looking at that option myself. I've been planning to throw the powerpack at my X and was going to go with the Ottomind but after walking through it with the Banks rep.....Automind seems to be the way to go.
I don't know much about either in the Banks vs SCT battle. I've seen ton of great comments about 5 Star on here in the past couple of weeks that I've been pounding the threads trying to get up to speed about my newly acquired X

Every great sct I ordered came with custom tunes....
but if you just ordered the base tuner, call them back and see if u can upgrade to custom tunes (if the place u got it from does GOOD custom tuning!)
fyi, the person tuning is more important than the tuner...
I liked Innovative diesel - they always kept my ex's out front
and IMHO, banks is overpriced, overhyped... and under performing - but marketing geniuses !

LOL....they likely are marketing geniuses! Haven't seen a whole lot of competition in the V10 space though...in terms of options to choose from.
