Concern is, are we just changing parameters to get the numbers we want...

Also, does any one know what changing the OBD header from Auto/HEX/TCM is actually doing?

I don't know if I missed it, I have read so much, what is the current formula for ECT (for Torque app)?
Since the temp is coming from the Tranny, it just needs to be reading from the right area of the system.

As for the temps, see what they read, ECT-EOT-TFT, in the morning after a cold soak.

I realized the original temp readings were wrong when the Tranny was always the same as ECT. Doesn't happen! The Torque developer found it needed to come from the TCM So, no, we are not just changing things to get a different reading.

Also, these trannies do run cold. The hottest I have seen my trans temp was when towing 8000+ in the summer up a very long grade in Central Oregon. It got to 180. Now, these readings do compare with the SGII.

I have compared SGII with the Torque APP for many of the gauges, and they match quite well.
