Just removed my tow hooks and want to install new driving lights in their place. I don't want to just relocate the originals as they're to small for the space. Anyone else done this and have pics?

 

I put HELLA 550s in place of my tow hooks on my 2000 Excursion.



Just make sure you replace the bolts that come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll need shorter ones. They hold stuff together up there.

i have always loved that look. but i use my tow hooks way to much...love having easy tow points front/rear!

 

Thanks for the pics MONSTA, that looks like what I want. As for the bolt removal mine is 2 wheel drive so the bolts were only holding on the tow hooks.

 

At first glance I thought that was an explorer! Looks good! I like the green.


I did some work on the front of mine. Like my last truck I wanted the stock fog lights for low beams but also wanted a driving light for the high beams (so I could actually see). Without much room in the front keeping the eye hooks I had to put them in the bumper itself. I like an oem look and I think I got it.
