Truck Rolls In Park 78F250 C6 Auto
hi,
I have a 78 f250 with a c6 auto trans. I put it in par and the truck rolls. Im assuming the parking pawl piece is broken? The truck goes into all the other gears fine and gears line up with the indicator. Is there anything else this could be? If it is the parking pawl does the transmission have to be pulled to replace it or can it be done by taking pan off and going in that way?
Any help would be appreciated.

So check the linkage and collar first, then tear your trans apart.
