Bad sleazy t case noises?
Hi all, I'm new. I have a 93 f150 with 35k on it. 5.8 1/2 ton, Auto trans, electric shift t/case, factory auto hubs. It is all stock except for an aussie locker in the rear. Starting a few days ago, when I turn sharp and apply signifigant throttle, whe front diff engages, the front diff applies. Also small brake applications from a stop there is a small noise, hard stops, lots of bad gear noise. Could my t/case have broken a snap ring causing my stack up to shift. I was a GM guy so all this is new to me. It's wierd, I swear my front diff applies when I crank it and hit the gas in 2wd. I crawled under and turned d/shafts, made sure hubs spin free ect. But I can't really lay under it under a hard stop on flooring it and cranking it. Thanks all! The noises and clunk I'm feeling is not the aussie locker.
