Temp sensor sender switch location for dash coolant temperature gauge
I replaced the one on the top of the intake manifold toward the front on the drivers side, it looks like this one:
My gauge still didnt work, and then after reading through posts on the forums here I read the above sensor is for the computer and not for the gauge. So I picked up the one below today (but I cant find where it is on my truck, ive looked all over laying ontop the engine to look in the back, getting underneath, im just not finding it. Does anyone know where it is on my 460 engine?):
Does anyone know where it is on my 460 engine?

I FOUND IT! I looked many places according to where different people said it was. and i also just tried looking around, it dont help that the motor is covered in dust.
If your looking at the front of the motor, it was in the intake manifold just behind the distributor and to the left.
dont forget to put some thread sealant, if your sensors threads didnt come pre coated with some.
