There are a ton of options out there. Depends on what you wanna spend really. I have a Kenwood unit with DVD, Garmin Navigation, Bluetooth, Sirius radio, and iPod/iPhone hookup.
One of the first things I did was replace my radio and speakers. HUGE improvement over factory crap.

Sounds like a nice unit, i'm looking to spend around 600.00 or so, for the head unit. Also does any of them have free updated maps for life, and is there a way to read gauges through any of them?

Free maps yes, gauges, no.
Kenwoods' use Garmin for their navigation units, they are very user friendly and probably the most accurate. Mine was roughly $1k with everything a few years back. They offer free lifetime maps on alot of there units. Get a Scanguage or Edge cs/cts for your gauges. Very important to have them on a 6.0

Cool thanks. I'm going to be getting the scanguage 2 very soon. I just thought it would be neat to see it on the reciever too. Not really no reason too just thought it would look neat.

I would stay away from any Pioneer BAD JUJU
I have the Pioneer AVIC Z130BT - Navigation system,DVD,USB inputs and smartphone apps it's a double din. This is what I hate the unit is very new and the map data is 3 years old. I called for an update and was told by some snotty un-caring person that when they got around to issuing an up-date I would have to pay full price for it. This was after a few weeks of having the thing so taking it back was not an option. The PIA thing is the nav software is lacking. It does not name the streets does not tell you to take EXIT #xyz (it say slight right ahead) Most or all it will miss a road.

Save your money and buy some thing with Garmin or TomTom in it

Man thanks, I will surely take your advice on this one. I think it is neat that you can have the naviation on it though. I guess I just like gadgets, and also the stock speakers and stereo sound like garbage.

With everything negative I had to say about the Pioneer AVIC Z130BT.
It does sound good and the other functions work as they should.
What I will do is not use the GPS functions and just take my
Garmin with me on any trips. I have the captains chairs with the
center storage and I was thinking of using a RAM Mounting Systems, Inc.
to put the thing on. They also have a nice smartphone mount that
the SGII fits in real nice.

Can you tell I also like gadgets and TOOLS! Got to have tools.
