Oil Pressure Problem...

I havent tried channel locks or vice grips yet. all of my tools are about 3-4 miles away from my house, so i'm not sure if i can drive the truck that far and be fine or if i sohuldnt even risk it.

Well, if the engine isn't ticking/clacking and your oil level is sufficient, I would imagine you'll be OK. I don't remember the details of this thread - when you got this thing, when this problem began - but just just a sending unit for talking to the dash gauge, it doesn't talk to the computer at all.

Went to autozone and purchased a $10 socket, hey atleast now i have one.
Anyways, as far as i can tell, this is the stock sender unit. I'm waiting for a buddy to bring me a oil pressure testing gauge.
If i get no appropriate reading, then i guess my next step will be to drop the pan! Yay!
