F250 Spring Pack Leveling Kit

A few months ago I purchased a 3" spring pack leveling kit. This morning I decided to install it. I jacked the front end up, placed the stands under the frame just behind the rear front spring mounts. Removed the front wheels, and that's where things went to crap. It didn't allow for the suspension to travel all the way and be able to install the packs.

So, I put everything back together. Am I missing something, or do i just have inadequate jack stands? Thanks!

I'm confused by your question, BUT it sounds like the right place for the jack stand, maybe not tall enough stands and/or didn't lift the truck up enough.

I used large 4 or 5 ton jack stands when i did my spring pack for the front, and they were still too short. i ended up putting some wood blocks underneith them to get enough height. just make sure you give the truck a little shake before you continue to make sure it is solid on the jack stands!

how much it hung down

Thanks for the info. Was finally able to get it done. The first set of stands were not tall enough, ended up using 5 ton stands and it gave me just enough room to do the work. Thanks for the input.
