Hi everybody, my truck has run good since i got it last aug with 77k miles. it is a 2006 kr with the 6.0 well now i have 109,000 and in the past couple mornings it is taking between 3-4 seconds to crank. when warm it only takes 2sec. also my mpg seem to be getting lower. on the 30miles home from work today i drove 55mph and reset the lie o meter on the truck and it said 20.1 mpg. if i remember right when i got the truck on the same trip i got 24mpg.
today my eot was 202, ect 196, ficm varied between 48.0-49.0
i changed my oil and fuel filter at 106k and both were motorcraft.
do you think i might have an injector starting to go or any other thoughts?? thank in advance. rhine.
well this morning i went out side and it cranked up just like it was warm in under 2 sec. i did turn the key forward and waited about 5 sec after the light went off to start. however i never saw the ficm drop below 48.5 on my sgII from the sec i turned the key on. also yesterday afternoon i add some grey diesel kleen.
also i checked for codes and found the code p0460, i DO NOT have a remote start installed. my fuel gauge seems normal, do you think this could be affecting my lie o meter? i am currently checking it by hand over the next couple days.
