clutch question

hi all, my clutch finally went out and im doin my first clutch job ever, i am a mechanic just never had the opertunity to do a clutch, and after some very carreful decision making im using hd f250 over 8500gvw clutch and flywheel. originally i was under the impression from the characteristics of the lugging motion when letting the clutch out thati had a dual mass flywheel, after disassembling i find that i do indeed have a smf but it was my actual clutch plate that was creating the dual mass sensation. im not too concerned about my ride im more for durability and when u ull somethinout with a dual mass flywheel once it starts slippin thats all it does, im curious if any of uns know if the early 80s trucks will have the springless clutch material oreven later model 80 into the ninties? any help woud be greatful. its an 87 f150 300 I6 np435/205. I use trucks mostly as high speed tractors. i hual roughly 1500 to 1800 lbs daily in tools.
