Rear Bumper Ideas?
Heres what I have been thinking of so far:
Shackles and hitch receiver the same design as the front, only I might be boxing in the frame rail and my mounting plates will require more than two bolts per side.
Backup lights. Integrated into the bumper like the front, only these will be fog lights. I am thinking of mounting them at a 20* or so angle. Everyone runs them straight back. I think it would make more sense to angle where it illuminates where you are looking in the mirrors.
Pondering permanetly mounting a 4-5000 lb atv winch above the hitch receiver. I will be dumping boats into drainage ditches and small acess roads for hunting and trapping so it would be nice to jack knife the trailer and run a ****** block on the trailer itself. It would be better than dragging it 50 yards. I do have a 9000lb winch on a portable cradle with a hitch receiver welded to it, but it would be a pain to recoil it every time

I've been tossing around the idea of making a hidden storage compartment on one of the rear fenders but dont have the courage to hack into it yet. Maybe this would be a chance to integrate it into the bumper. It sure would be nice not having my hitches, straps, toolbox and jumper cables in the bed!
Any other ideas to make this bumper better than bought??
Not a fan of tube bumpers. This one is going to match my front.
I did some measuring last night on the bumper. I found if I take the spare tire out(i run 35's anyways) I will have approx. a 28"deep X 30" wide storage compartment. When closed it will look like a normal bumper. I am thinking of mounting the license plate on hinges so I can flip it open to pin the storage rack. Only issue I have is wiring the license plate lights, because it will be on the sliding rack.
I am going to start drawing it up tonight so hopefully I can get some cad drawings for you guys to druel over
