I want to change my steering wheel to 14" model.I bought a grant wheel a couple years ago with the install kit.The wheel was 13.5" and it was too small looking on the truck. With the install kit I could'nt get the signal light lever to work properly either.I had to turn it on and off by hand. What would the proper wheel and kit be to put an after market wheel on.

I think you will need to get some thing better than the cheap made Grant,I have one and the horn honks when i turn it . The last time i had to pull the horn wire to make it stop. The signals won't shut off after making a left turn and the right one won't stay on as soon as i start the turn.
I'm thinking $100.00 or more for a good one, I really don't know so if you find a good one tell us about it.
Yes please do find something that works well. I have a 77 150 with a lame *** cheech & chong wheel, same as above poster, horn honks when turning and the turn signals are screwed up.
It was on that truck when I purchased the truck, I'd like a nice quality wheel around 14" or so as well.
Not all Grants are cheap... you get what you pay for. I would avoid the ones where the center cap is merely pressed on. The PO of my 65 Mustang intalled their wooden wheel and i hate it.. the horn button pops off at the most inopportune times. Get a version that attaches with machine screws or is trapped by the wheel itself.
I'm real happy with the 14-inch GT Sport wheel in my bump.

X2 on that, the PO had the cheapo wheel with the pop on horn button, they never work for me. I grab this wheel off my Mustang, it still uses the grant install kit, I had to force the blinker cancel cam onto the grant adapter, but now horn and signals all work nicely
