Brake Light Malfunction
So I noticed a little issue when checking my lights... The issue is with the left brake light. Here is the description put as simply as possible.
When the parking/headlights are off, it works normal when the brake is applied. When the parking/headlights are on, the left brake light dims rather than getting brighter when the brake is applied. The right brake light works correctly under all conditions.
I have no idea where to even start with this one; my guess is something is shorting out somewhere along the line. Any thoughts as to where to begin?

I did a quick check of the socket and changed the bulb out; did the same thing. The wires that can be seen through the hole the tail light lens sits in do not appear to be modified.
