IMHO...a good study and something that needs to be done. What it also shows...is that the USA is leading the diesel industries of the world with better...cleaner burning engines. Producing tremendous amounts of hp / torque...and still clean!

That is a modern marvel of technology...while still helping clean our air. If not for us...for the future generations.

Now...that WHO report is really calling notice to the other countries of the world with little to no emissions regulations.

Yep. We have to lead and in showing leadership the hope is other countries like China, India follow.

I recall reading somewhere a couple of years ago that the tailpipe emissions from the Daimler 'Bluetec' diesel line are less toxic than the ambient air in downtown Toronto. Now that's something.
