Hey guys. I'm new to this forum so go easy...
I have a f-350 superduty v-8 diesel with a bad fuel leak that i am not sure where it is coming from. It seems as though it is coming from the back of the engine where the fuel enters but i can't contort myself well enough to see back there. Is there somewhere that I should be looking other than there? I also have seen something about a "piston stage" and was wondering if this had anything to do with the fuel? I have also read about the fuel filter valve and o rings but I don't think this is it, it seems to be further back in the engine. I am at a loss...
I would appreciate any help i can get. Thanks guys.
Mike
Welcome to FTE. Tell us what year your truck is and which V-8 engine you have. 5.4, 6.0, 7.3 are all V-8's and all have different answers to your question.
