transmission options? need some info
ok, so i've been doin some research and i've got some questions...
im redoing my 78 250 400 4 speed. my engine should be back from the machine shop in two weeks or so and im trying to decide on a trans to replace my four speed, this truck is 2wd, and my plans are a CV swap and 8.8 out back. im just looking for a good all around manual trans without a granny gear. this pretty much rules out the zf5. anybody running a T5 with good results behind a 351m/400?? what other options do i have?
