Coolant flush

I am approching 75k and was thinking it's about time to replace the coolant in my truck. The overflow bottle is also looking kind of cruddy also. The manual says to use Motorcraft Premium Gold and not to mix any other kind, extended life or Dexcool. I have been looking at the different brands and it seems that Zerex G-05 is the only one "approved" to use in Ford vehicles. What has everyone been using in their trucks? If the Motorcraft is close in price to the Zerex then I'll use it but if there is another option for less I will certainly do that.

Any other tips/tricks I should be aware of when flushing the system?

I used the ford stuff recently. I'm not sure what the $ was, it was warranty work for a split radiator

I had the Motorcraft put in my '04 when the radiator was flushed at 82k.

I flushed out the rad in my 05 a few months ago and used the G-05. Also used to use it in my Ram that specified an HOAT coolant as well.

I did mine at 75k too. I used the green stuff because I was sick of the "mud" in my overflow. Flushing the block properly is a pain in the *** tho.
