Extended Life Coolant

It is my understanding that Ford has been using the Extended Life coolant in thier vehicals since 1999. Does anyone know what brand coolant Ford uses? I've read horror stories of General Motors' Dex-Cool eating away gaskets, causing leaks and the coolant turning into a rusty sludge in the radiators within a couple of years. Have there been any problems with Ford's Extended Life Coolant?

They use Motorcraft of course.. Only a few models use it though, most still use old glory green still.

The acceptable Ford extended-life coolant is yellow ("Gold"), not the orange stuff. I believe it is the same as Xerex G-05, which is available at Autozone and many other autoparts stores.
