2.5L roller cam
hey all ,
just wondering if any of the factory camshafts are better performing than any of the others ? the motor i have is a 2000 ranger ... and was hoping that there might be one that has a little more hp & tq ? if so please leave me the info and it would be very much apricated !! my truck is street driven daily, and needs to pass california smog bull shi _ !

I was going to basically ask the same question for my 99. I was just wondering if there was a aftermarket cam that might give it a little more power just like you can do in a V8. I have never done anything with a 4 banger before but I sure would like to up the power just a tad. Any info will be appreciated

about a 2.5l performance cam
hey all ,
the only lead i've got so far is to check out, " esslingerracing.com " .. look at their " stage 1 cam and kit " or one sugestion i got is to purchase the " esslinger racing ranger pulley kit ." you can advance or retard the cam with the cam-pulley with out taking the top end apart... advance for torque, retard for top end... check it out...
