Can somebody please tell me what size o-ring is needed for the brass updated drain plug. mine has gotten chewed up and is now leaking when truck is turned off. Went to dealer but as usual was given the wrong size. Thanks.
Somehow I've managed to nick the o-ring on my HFCM drain plug (LCF upgrade style)...of course it starts leaking after I filled the tank ALL the way up. Do both styles of water drain plugs use the same o-ring? I emailed Clay at RiffRaff, but he wasn't sure of the exact part number. I'm trying to source a replacement locally since I don't think it's worth the postage or merchants electronic sales fees to order this o-ring from across the country. That viton link is dead by the way...I know, that's what I get for using an old thread.
The o-ring size is a Dash 111 and the best local alternative would be a hydraulics and bearing store, although some commercial auto parts stores carry assortments. As an alternative to Grainger where you need an account, McMaster is a good source with alternative materials and square cut if someone wants to try them. The Viton is a more abrasive resistent material.

I should clarify, I was talking about local to West Arkansas compared to Oregon where RiffRaff is located. I've got a Ford dealership here in town...could I use the same o-ring on the stock water drain plugs as what is on this updated style was what I wanted to clarify? I know the threads are the same...just not too sure about the o-rings them selves. I'm guessing no since the first guy was having troubles.
