2005 F350 6.0l 65K miles bone stock no tuner (original Owner).. I Tow a 36’ Travel Trailer. Process of elimination leads me to the Turbo. Have to remove, clean and reinstall and this should resolve my over-boost no power issue. While I have the turbo off I intend to do a bit of “Preventative maintenance”. Below is my list of parts. I’d appreciate you all looking them over to see if anything is wrong/missing. Also any comments or suggestions on additional changes while I’m into it. I suppose I have to stop at some point, replacing/upgrading, but if I am missing something that’s easy while I have it tore apart I would appreciate the advice. At this point money is no object (well.. almost) I just want to do it once. Any “O” rings gaskets or special tools I may be missing? I will add that my EOT & ECT is 5 to 10deg different with no issues. Also I did a coolant flush (VC-9) about a year ago at 59-60K miles an added a coolant filter. Want to add gauges but don’t like the idea of not having my grab handle mainly because my wife uses it (need to finger this one out). “X” indicates items sitting on the shelf in the garage ready to install.

Reason: update parts list
If your EOT & ECT is 5 to 10deg different with no issues, then why change the EGR/Oil cooler now? Why can't you wait until 15* + difference to change out? Then do the stand pip and plugs at that time.
Unfortunately, the 05-07 model year EGR coolers can fail even without the oil cooler plugging. It is a reliability issue IMO. That doesn't mean that all OEM 05-07 EGR coolers are going to fail, it is just that they are not built all that well.
You will be happey with that DC Power Alternator I still havent heard anyone having problems with one. My DC Power alt pushes my stereo just fine I was EATING OEM alts
The CAC Boots from Dieselsite IIRC had a delamination Issue you may want to send those Back and I think everyones going Riff Raff Boots
Guys wasnt it the Dieselsite Boots that Delaminate?????????????????????????????????Help here anyone ???
What are you using for Gauges???????????How do you know the turbo has dirty Veins vs a Bad Sensor?????I saw you had ECT & EOT what gauge do you have???

I did the search and you are correct about the boots.. I guess i just didn’t do enough research up front.. My bad... Can’t be mad at no one but myself.. BUT I won’t use em with the delamination history.. Not on my truck anyway.
All my #'s panned out to be ~ within spec. I don’t drive my rig much and the historical driving patterns lead me to believe the veins are sticking
Pic of both electrical plugs.. One connector (in my hand ) has a water tight "Plug/cap" if you will which appears to be the connected needed for the 03/04 MAF. Both part of same harness. I order the MAF online from Toiusley Ford so I am not sure if I can return it??
Does anyone know if one is better than the other?
Ya theres something odd here for shure
here is the FORD MAF value
MAF 0 1.44 2.65 0.5 - 4.75 VOLT Mass Air Flow
You had .08 for MAF acorrding to AE
I know this dont mean much but .08 MAF would be a Bad Value for my 2003 and I dont know how it applied to your 2005
everything i read told me that 2005 model Ford/Int. removed the MAF and it returned in 06.. Not sure why they took it out but then put it back.. I suspect it was cost savings and didn’t pan out. None the less the A.E. showed the reading but it never varied no matter what. It would be nice to understand what is making up for no MAF but I really haven’t found anything. I can say without a doubt that I don’t have a MAF sensor..<O</O
