Many kits come with a 3 gallon tank with oversized "U" bolts the wrap around the frame rails, side mounted tank. I have one tank like that.

My main tank is now a nice stainless steel 5 gallon tank mounted above the driveshaft.

Naturally, air bags if you want are just an easy bolt on if you already have the air source, so why not get them.

I don't have air bags and have only had one long pull, but leaving Wed for another long haul. This may be the trip that convinces the wife I need to get them, plus we're going to Myrtle Beach in July too. The F350 is rougher than the old F250 for sure.
