tranny vibration
I have an 02 F350 CC PSD, 16,500 miles. There is a slight vibration from the transmission when I take off from a stop. I don't know if this is something to worry about, or not??? Any ideas??? Anyone???...

Manual or automatic? Could be broken trans mount or engine mount. Could also be in driveline, such as loose u-joint bolts. They would keep vibrating though. Same thing if a lot of mud is in wheels. If it just vibrates at take off, it could also be a brake hanging. Most problems identify themselves sooner or later.

If its an automatic then the possibilities go further.. you might want to check for a tourque shutter.. Some of this can be fixed by the dealer. They readjust the torque setting that locks it up a little faster or somthing like that.. I'm not a tech for sure.
