I calle Carpenter's about these the day after ND posted and was quoted a price. I elected to wait the weekend until I found a couple of other things to add to offset the $10 shipping.
When I called the following Monday to order I was told that the C4RZ number was a bad part number and they didn't have it.
I referenced the MotorCraft number and was told they had nothing like that in stock and it wasn't even in their catalog. It's not in their catalog, it's an obsolete part, not a repro part!
C4RZ-9030-C is a valid Ford part number and has been since 1964.
CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS still has 23, because I just checked the parts locator.
NOS (New Old Stock) parts are usually not listed in DC's catalogs. I've listed DC's NOS obsolete parts division 100's of times on FTE, no one ever complained before that the parts didn't exist.
