Window Regulator

My drivers side window quit working. I discovered a broken cable on the window regulator. Anyone have experience with this? Should I replace the whole regulator or just the cable?

Not sure you can get just the cable. If you could that would be the cheaper way to go.

I think its the entire assembly, just had mine replaced under warranty 2010 EL, 28K miles.

I replaced the regulator today. Was tedious but not too difficult. Got it at AutoZone $163. Included everything but the motor.

Just a heads up Rockauto.com has them for about half that price.
