I have come to a point where I need new rotors on the front along with pads for front and I am going to do rear just cause. Now what I need to know is how the rotor comes off the front of a 1996 F-150 4x4. Does it involve bearings or anything else? Any other advice is appreciated.
first off you need the special tool or socket to remove the rotors
may aswell pick up some new seals and id even go new bearings too
its pretty easy actually
a shop manual would make it even easier
when you take all the allen head bolts off the hub and pull the hub off be carefull of the spring
just make sure you put it all back together the way it came apart
there isnt many pieces in there
get a new rubber o ring for the hub aswell
