The vids are great guys! Keep them coming. I would really like to hear a video of a 4" exhaust system that has a muffler in it. I would like to just compare that to the straight pipe to see how much the muffler cuts down on the whistle as opposed to just silencing the tone.

I agree. It will depend on the muffler though, so if anyone has that video, please list what muffler. I have heard a muffler on an SD that sounded normal under part throttle, but as soon as you stepped down on it, it just whistled out the exhaust, no rumble at all. Put that same muffler on an OBS and it did the same thing. Weirdest 7.3L exhaust sound I've ever heard. LOL Not sure what brand muffler it was though.
A couple more of the MBRP system. I think I like that sound the best of any of them yet. Nice mellow tone at part throttle, yet sounds good at WOT. Nice turbo sounds too (although I realize these are from a SD truck...)
Sorry guys I have to admit it. I went all soft and put the stock pipe and muffler back on. Still sounds pretty good with the 3" DP and 6637, but it was just too obnoxious for what I use it for with the 4.5" straight pipe. I swear, it's the strangest thing. It sure seems to me like this ting runs better with the little bit of back pressure that the stock system provides. The transmission shifts better (doesn't hang onto the gears as long) and it just seems to make better power. It really seems counter-intuitive, but I swear that's the case.
The truck just seems to have better manners this way. I do miss that ungodly turbo whistle though.
and finally, the current setup. 3" DP to a 5" straight kit from Diamond Eye. I like this one best. It's quiet when you want, but when you get on it, it'll roar.
