Intake?

Hi, can someone help me with picking out which cold air intake I should get for my 2008 6.4. I was planing on going with the AFE but I see there's 3 to chose from? I see some people are going with the stage 2 si but really why?
My truck has a edge cs and that's about all that I have done too it so far I am planning on doing more.
Thanks,

Wow...it's an intake thread epidemic...you don't even need the search function to see about a 1/2 dozen threads in the first page or two about intakes...

S&B or aFe...so long as it's not K&N (or an intake that uses a K&N filter) you'll be fine.

Mine's in my sig, and it makes me happy...

And if you're using an Edge CS for tuning, then we really need to talk...'cause you're doing it wrong...

Well If I go with the afe stage 2 si will it give me that nice sound?
well I am all open to ideas I use my truck for hauling and also for playing. I have put my truck into one drag races so far I would like to do more but it's really just for fun. I put lots of km on my truck.

If your open to other thoughts check out the volant setup, the biggest draw back to it is its not the friendliest to change back to stock if needed, as the entire stock intake is changed including the snorkel tube behind the fender.

Exclamation

I don't have a lot to add to the aftermarket intake discussion, as I've never modified my trucks. But I do have something else to add:

We are an internet discussion forum, and this principle operates by users creating threads to discuss things with other members. We've never had a limit to the number of times a topic can be discussed, and we're also not going to create a hostile environment to newcomers by becoming the "search police". All users are given the same chance to create a thread about whichever subject they like.

Bottom line: If you don't like repeated threads about similar topics, don't read them.

I had a afe on mine but I didn't like how much it raised the intake temps, so I went to the Volant it took about 1.5 hrs to install, I think the biggest hook is the fact that it's about 100+ bucks more than the afe or s&b.
