so i ordered rebuild kit for TK55....guide me here people.
Did I get the wrong thing? Is A4ld just another way of identifying this tranny?
I dont know trans., my brother worked in a tranny shop for a long time but he isnt really around much. hes waiting for me to get everything i need and get it out and then help rebuild it.

Do you have an auto or manual?
If it is an auto it is the a4ld, if not it might be a TK5 which is a manual tranny.
Not at the house to check but that link for the tranny and link name looks familiar. I'm pulling everything at present and starting teardown soon. Ill b sure to keep everything in order on the bench for my brother but I want to drop with trnsfr case so I can see if we can figure out why 4x isn't working. (Its never just one thing).
