I have a 1993 f150. Recently the heater core started leaking so I temporarily bypassed it. I was just wondering how to go about replacing it and if it involved messing with the AC at all
very very hard job.
remove the glove box.
look in to heater box, and you will see 6 or 8 bolts. remove those bolts and the cover.
remove the heater core.
total job takes around 20 minutes, including a beer brake.
Another question...how do you replace the outlet vents in the dash for the heat and ac?
There is a thead on ths somewhere but the jist of t stere is ether a special too or you can usea coupe of 1" putty knives and insert them into the sides of the vents to release them then pul them out.
